Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Computer Systems Architect or a Senior Principal Computer Systems Architect to join the Protected Tactical SatCom – Ground (PTS-G) program to ready and support PTS operations, develop and implement a Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability documentation, Mission Operations Center System Administrator support, and system architecture baseline that will meet operational requirements for the system.
Requirements
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Classified Windows/Linux Domains
- Experience with Kubernetes, Ansible, network design, configuration, and management
- Familiarity with a broad set of commercial hardware system components (i.e., servers, switches, routers, network-attached storage)
- Experience with Atlassian tool sets (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Current Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP, or similar DoD 8570 security certification
- Active DoD Secret Clearance required at the time of application
- Familiar with Model Based Systems Engineering principles
Responsibilities
- Define the computer system application configuration and provisioning plan
- Determine systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security
- Identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies
- Develop and recommend corrective actions
- Interface and collaborate with system administrators, cybersecurity engineers, database managers, and software developers
- Develop and implement a Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability documentation
- Provide Mission Operations Center System Administrator support

- Ability to travel up to 10% domestically
- Ability to support onsite in Manhattan Beach, California and provide 24/7 on-call support during the rehearsals, tests, and all operational phases of the program
- U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in relevant field
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
