Raytheon is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join their Digital Technology Analytics & Automation Applied Artificial Intelligence team to develop analytic products for agile delivery across various business functions.

Requirements

  • Experience with Python development (numpy, scipy, scikit-image, and scikit-learn) for integration into statistical and/or machine learning applications (beyond academic examples).
  • Experience with relational databases management and SQL development.
  • Proficiency with at least one deep learning framework such as PyTorch, TensorFlow.
  • Experience with Complex Neural Net architectures and high performance compute management tools (i.e. Slurm, HTCondor).
  • Track record of GPU programming, network optimization and deployment for data science applications
  • Experience with commercial software development processes: good software hygiene regarding code documentation, unit testing, bug tracking, version control, MLOps concepts, processes, and technologies.
  • Familiarity deploying machine learning models in public cloud services such as AWS, or Azure.

  • researching and deploying technical solutions for customers as part of a broader ecosystem of machine learning and advanced analytics professionals
  • Experience with Python development (numpy, scipy, scikit-image, and scikit-learn) for integration into statistical and/or machine learning applications (beyond academic examples).
  • Experience with relational databases management and SQL development.
  • Experience applying quantitative techniques (normalization, standardization, applied statistics) to cleanse and explore large, complex data sets in preparation for further analysis.
  • Experience in creating repeatable, reusable processes and scalable data products with the advanced analytics team using Scaled Agile Framework methodology.
  • Experience building data visualizations with applications such as Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI, etc.

  • Experience meeting with business stakeholders to identify and develop requirements for strategic use cases and research opportunities.
  • Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
  • The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).
