Raytheon is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join their Digital Technology Analytics & Automation Applied Artificial Intelligence team to develop analytic products for agile delivery, spanning manufacturing, engineering, business development, and supply chain functions.
Requirements
- Python development (numpy, scipy, scikit-image, and scikit-learn)

- GPU programming, network optimization and deployment for data science applications
Responsibilities
- develop analytic products for agile delivery
- researching and deploying technical solutions for customers as part of a broader ecosystem of machine learning and advanced analytics professionals
- integration into statistical and/or machine learning applications
- applying quantitative techniques (normalization, standardization, applied statistics) to cleanse and explore large, complex data sets in preparation for further analysis
- creating repeatable, reusable processes and scalable data products with the advanced analytics team using Scaled Agile Framework methodology
- building data visualizations with applications such as Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI, etc.
- deploying machine learning models in public cloud services such as AWS, or Azure

- Experience meeting with business stakeholders to identify and develop requirements for strategic use cases and research opportunities.
- Experience with commercial software development processes: good software hygiene regarding code documentation, unit testing, bug tracking, version control, MLOps concepts, processes, and technologies.
- Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
- The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).
