Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for a Program Quality Engineer with experience in quality to join their Combat Sensors Business Unit team in Baltimore, MD on a dynamic and exciting program within the Northrop Grumman Corporation portfolio.
Requirements
- Experience working in a Quality environment or investigating failures and identifying root causes or in Manufacturing, Process, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering field of work performing technical job functions with a Masters Degree in a STEM field.
- Experience with dispositioning hardware for quality related issues in a manufacturing facility.
- Experience with Material Review Board (MRB) process.
- Experience with SAP
- Experience in PFMEA (or any other risk analysis methodology).
- Experience Facilitating RCCAs with technical groups
- Experience and/or with Earned Value and budgeting.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates and performs Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), HQMS and Continuous Improvement activities.
- Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards.
- Support review of Key Performance Metrics (SRR, FTTTY, FTTIY) and Charts used to identify trends and track performance processes and quality performance.
- Identifies and reviews product non-conformances.
- Able to create and present executive-level presentations and/or reports.
- Lead process improvement efforts.
- Interface with Program Team to resolve quality issues in timely manner.
