Northrop Grumman is looking to design, develop and integrate software for an Integrated Simulation Architecture Framework to enable improved continuous development, integration, testing and configuration management of models and simulations (M&S) for Air Vehicle Modeling & Simulation
Requirements
- Experience in Air Vehicle simulation, Math, Physics, or Control Algorithms
- Experience developing software / writing code in C and/or C++
- Familiarity with Atlassian Tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Crucible, Bamboo)
- Familiarity with Agile software development process
- Experience with Python
- Experience with VxWorks, Red Hat Linux, and/or Windows Software Development
- Experience with Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS Protocol) and/or ARINC-610
Responsibilities
- Develop, modify and maintain customized or standardized applications using software engineering best practices and standards
- Participate in the full life-cycle of software development, to include requirements development, modeling and design, application development, unit to CSCI testing, integration, formal system testing, release, installation, and maintenance
- Interface on occasion with the customer
- Develop software / write code in C and/or C++
- Work in a modeling and simulation environment
- Develop real time software
- Integrate software for an Integrated Simulation Architecture Framework
Other
- Must have an active DoD Secret (or higher) clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with 8 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in STEM with 6 years of related engineering experience; OR a PHD in STEM with 4 year of related engineering experience
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions
