Northrop Grumman is looking for a Senior Principal Engineer Systems Architect to design and develop system architectures and define key capabilities and performance requirements to meet customer specifications.
Requirements
- Must have experience with Atlassian Tool Suite
- Must have experience developing model-based systems engineering products and/or Mission Engineering using Cameo Enterprise Architecture
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Software Engineering with experience using Model-Based Systems Engineering (preferred)
- Experience in the military aerospace development environment is preferred
- Experience integrating hardware and software in a lab environment
- Experience in software development, including interfacing with systems engineering and integration and test
Responsibilities
- Assist in development of system architectures.
- Architecture, CONOPS, and use case development using model-based systems engineering methodologies.
- Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
- Perform system requirements analysis.
- Automation workflow development of multi-disciplined functional processes in support of various engineering and business processes.

- Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline AND 8 years of related professional/military experience, OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 6 years of related professional/military experience, OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 4 years of related professional/military experience
- Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company
- U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions
