Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Test Engineer to support the Sentinel program, which requires synthesizing test requirements, developing test plans, and executing qualification and acceptance testing.

Requirements

  • Experience with creating test documentation such as test plans, procedures, and reports.
  • Experience with integration and test principles and processes.
  • Experience with systems engineering principles and processes.
  • Experience with Verification Cross Reference Matrices and verifying system requirements
  • Experience in using a requirements management tool, such as DOORS
  • Experience with IBM JAZZ
  • Experience with Model Based System Engineering with an understanding of DODAF and SysML

Responsibilities

  • Synthesize test requirements into verification requirements, test objectives, success criteria, and required resources for sub-system level tests and demonstrations.
  • Support the development of test requirements and detailed integration test plans, test procedures, test readiness reviews (TRRs), test data and test reports.
  • Execution of qualification and acceptance testing per those requirements, plans and procedures.
  • Participate in internal and customer test planning working groups.
  • Support program reviews and customer delivery (CDRL) development
  • Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment.
  • Compile data and define changes required in test equipment, test procedures, or new test requirements.

  • US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification
  • Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time

  • Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years with a Master’s Degree; or 4 years with a PhD; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
