The Computing Solutions Department is looking for a talented Graphics Engineer to join the exciting development of a next-generation graphics & processing solution in Cedar Rapids, IA. We are focused on applying this solution across a wide variety of Avionics products in safety-critical commercial and military applications. Our team is responsible for the development, certification and sustainment of these data and graphics processing solutions.
Requirements
- 3D Graphics Certification Experience.
- Leadership experience in developing ruggedized products.
- Experience with Avionics regulatory and certification requirements: TSO, MIL-STD, DO-160, DO-254, DO-178B/C, DO-297, or APR4754A.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the engineering project leader for programs developing Avionics products, including coordination of hardware, software, and firmware scope to meet program commitments.
- Ensure consistency with Collins Aerospace technical consistent engineering processes.
- Ensure compliance with program and product requirements as reflected in design plans.
- Lead wide range of entry-levels to highly experienced engineers.
- Demonstrate technical ability in processing platforms and the associated technologies.
- Maintain awareness of key technologies and the company's competitive position.
