Collins Aerospace's Strategic Solutions team is looking for an exceptionally motivated Engineer that is passionate about collaborating with High-Performance Teams to create mission critical solutions supporting Integrated Mission Systems. The candidate will serve as Product Owner and CAM for a Software Team Interacting with the Systems Engineering Team, Software Architects, Scrum Masters, and Software Engineers, supporting a large program. This position will support the shaping of the future of NC3 defense systems for the armed forces.
Requirements
- Previous experience as Product Owner following Agile / SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
- Previous experience with EVMS (Earned Value Management System).
- Previous experience as CAM (Control Account Manager).
- Experience with Agile SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Experience with Requirements Management (Decomposition, Derivation).
- Experience as a Software-System engineer.
- Experience with UML, SysML, MBSE and CAMEO Modeling tools.
- Experience with Jira.
Responsibilities
- You will act as Product Owner, bridging the Software Team and the Systems Engineering Team, helping us define and manage our backlog and execution.
- You will work directly with the IPT Lead, Scrum Masters and Software Engineers performing Software-Systems work used in a Mission Critical System program.
- You will act as the CAM (Control Account Manager) for the scope related to your team, ensuring flawless execution.
- You will interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a large program.
- You will have the opportunity to mentor Interns, Junior, Senior, and Principal engineers.
Other
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
