HCA Healthcare is looking for a Senior Product Analyst to act as a liaison between ITG Data Management and Data Services teams and other HCA Healthcare teams to identify gaps, develop product solutions, and execute improvements for existing and new products/services. This role is crucial for evaluating, discovering, developing, refining, implementing, testing, and measuring the benefits of solutions and analysis for products produced by the Data Engineering Department.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of IT experience with preferably some exposure to development technologies/languages or light development experience
- 5 or more years’ experience of demonstrated expertise in business analysis evidenced in work products such as requirements documents, use cases, business process models, requirement traceability matrices, etc.
- Developed analytical and problem solving skills with the ability and desire to learn complex concepts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, SharePoint and Visio.
- Background around using/supporting data analysis, data mapping, alerting/monitoring, healthcare clinical knowledge (preferable on clinical registry abstraction area), agile development, and/or other shared infrastructure platforms in the HealthCare Revenue Cycle IT Solutions.
- Ongoing evaluation of key nonfunctional requirements for existing and new products with a focus on the following areas: Availability, Security, Capacity/Scalability, Performance, Extensibility, Manageability
- Supporting and monitoring of SLA’s
Responsibilities
- Serves in all aspects of a Business Analyst role supporting projects and release work, primarily associated with Data Management and Strategic Data Services development teams.
- Provides expertise in design and provides leadership in communicating requirements to product development, testing, and education/training.
- Creates deliverables independently and manages approvals.
- Supports the roll-out of projects and release work, including pilot training and initial field communication.
- Creates a joint vision for IT solutions by maintaining strong relationships with business unit and Solution Leaders.
- Identifies impact to other solutions or projects, and works with other BAs and stakeholders to identify options and recommendations.
- Provides operational support for application area of focus, supporting the business and other IT areas by providing status and recommending solutions when there are system issues and coordinating resolution of issues with CSS and development.

- Less than 1 year of experience in a leadership role - Preferred
- Strong teamwork skills and comfort working in a highly collaborative environment; this is a high profile and fast paced team.
