The Services Products Data Science & Analytics organization at Apple is looking to develop discerning insights and machine learning solutions to continually improve Apple Services and accelerate growth while maintaining a strong dedication to customer privacy.

Requirements

  • Proficient in extracting insights from large datasets using programming languages such as Python and SQL.
  • Skilled in designing and executing experimentation strategies, including test definition and results measurement.
  • Skilled in applying statistical methods to business problems including classification, segmentation, and forecasting.
  • Experienced in applying data science techniques to solve ambiguous, real-world problems and clearly communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Experience with advance causal inference methods.
  • Experience with distributed computing frameworks like Spark.
  • Experience in using AI to augment data science workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making across product, business, and creative teams focused on Apple Services.
  • Inform our understanding of how users discover and engage with content and subscription offerings.
  • Define engineering and business intelligence requirements for new datasets and data products to enable product feature and content launches.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate A/B tests and experiments to continuously improve the product experience.
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models to optimize our products and services.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to shape and guide roadmaps, influence priorities, and support product strategy with data.
  • Collaborate with the broader data science organization on cross-functional initiatives to ensure a comprehensive view of our products and services.

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Passion for film, television, and/or music domains.
  • Experience in media or entertainment industry.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with partners across Business, Marketing, Product, Content, and Engineering daily
