Irwin is looking to fill a Senior Product Design Engineer role to lead product development, drive innovation, enhance design methodologies, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

- Advanced CAD proficiency, including experience with structural simulations and design optimization.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex product development initiatives, ensuring all technical and functional requirements are met, by using a Human-Centered Design (HCD) mindset and approach.
- Drive innovation in design by introducing new methodologies, technologies, and materials.
- Establish robust design standards and processes to streamline product development.
- Serve as a technical advisor to improve quality control and manufacturing efficiency.
- Oversee comprehensive testing plans for new and existing products, ensuring robust validation processes.
- Leverage advanced analytical tools to simulate product performance and identify potential issues preemptively.
- Review and approve complex technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with manufacturing capabilities.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Design Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 5+ years minimum experience in product design preferred.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex projects and mentoring engineering teams.
- Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
