Schwab is looking for an experienced product designer to join their Digital Retail UX team to craft effortless mobile, web, and desktop experiences for millions of clients, simplifying complex financial tasks and inspiring trust.
Requirements
- End-to-end Journey Design Experience.
- The proven ability to work across Web, Mobile Web and Native Mobile Platforms and Channels.
- 6 + years of product design experience. focused on digital products or equivalent.
- Experience with all aspects of a user-centered design process, including user research, developing user flows, creating wireframes, and creating content specifications.
- Experience working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team within an iterative process and an Agile development methodology.
- Experience with accessible design and accessibility testing for solutions.
- Proficient in design tools like Figma and Writer.
Responsibilities
- Designing and optimizing end-to-end client experiences.
- Supporting cross-functional teams to generate insights and co-design solutions that align service design with business goals and technical constraints.
- Provide effective interaction design and able to translate product requirements into delightful user experiences and product experience solutions while meeting client needs and requirement.
- Design interactions across desktop, mobile web and native mobile experiences, using product context.
- Align visual design approach for products, including how aspects like layout, color, spacing and typography impact how the user will interact with the system and how the system should respond.
- Work within and potentially contribute to a design system with full understanding of the overarching structure and implementation methods for patterns and components.
- Understand that the tiniest detail can make all the difference in designing a great product, with focused attention on meeting product requirements, providing consistent and error-free experiences aligned to brand identity, and ensuring every aspect of the design is accessible and inclusive.
