Intuit is looking to solve the problem of creating intuitive, secure, and user-friendly authentication experiences for customers and prospects across their ecosystem. This involves shaping how users sign in, sign up, recover, and manage their Intuit Accounts.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in interaction design, product design, service design, or a related field, with a proven track record in identity and authentication experiences.
- Demonstrated experience designing authentication flows, including sign-up, sign-in, and account recovery, and a strong understanding of the associated security and fraud considerations
- Strong knowledge of user experience methods, design principles, innovation, ideation, storytelling, prototyping, design frameworks, concept visualization, and problem-framing skills.
- Experience working in technically complex initiatives, capable of marrying user experiences with technical architecture.
- Mastery of design tools such as Figma (essential for delivering prototypes and specifications) and proficiency in Google Workspace tools like Google Slides to effectively collaborate with non-design partners.
- Ability to design across web and native (iOS, Android) platforms.
- A strong online portfolio available for viewing, demonstrating your craft excellence and process.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and secure end-to-end user experiences:
- Apply strategic thinking to create seamless, compliant, and highly secure core authentication flows, including modern methods like passkeys.
- Translate complex visions into simple, easy-to-use designs that balance user needs, business goals, and technological realities across web and mobile platforms.
- Utilize existing components and patterns to deliver consistent, yet scalable experiences and flows.
- Deliver designs using key tools like Figma for design specs and wireframes, AI-based prototyping tools for design prototypes, and clear documentation for cross-functional team members in Google Slides.
- Participate in customer research with clear goals, testable hypotheses, and learning plans, conceptualizing a broad spectrum of ideas and narrowing them based on experimentation and data-driven insights.
- Experience designing for and working with design systems and reusable component libraries.
