Peloton's Central Design Team needs a Senior Product Designer to create cohesive experiences across all member touch-points, drive complex design initiatives, and govern global UX patterns across Peloton's platforms.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software product design experience.
- Strong interface and interaction design skills.
- Strong user experience, testing, research, and information architecture skills.
- Highly attentive to detail and ability to conceptualize multi-state, multi-path interaction systems and to consistently capture edge cases.
- Comfortable working with ambiguous requirements and ability to quickly adapt and flex on the direction of projects.
- Extensive experience with prototyping as a means to explore and convey design solutions.
- Familiarity with design systems, interaction patterns, and limitations of cross-functional platforms—specifically Android, iOS, and web apps.
- Designed experiences on larger touchscreens and/or TV interfaces. (Bonus)
Responsibilities
- Partner with peers in design, product, and engineering to help deliver cohesive experiences across all member touch-points.
- Partner with design leads across software and hardware teams to drive new R&D opportunities and set direction for future experiences.
- Drive complex design initiatives that span across multiple large product pillars.
- Make product vision tangible through prototyping and visual storytelling.
- Govern global UX patterns, information architecture, and collaborate on systemic initiatives, such as our design system.
- Contribute to defining best practices for our cross-functional accessibility standards.
- Effortlessly shift altitude from high-level direction setting to in-the-pixels refinement.
