Netflix is seeking Senior Product Designers to shape the future of its Infrastructure Platform, focusing on creating intuitive tools and services that empower internal engineering and data teams to streamline workflows, reduce toil, and concentrate on core business objectives like entertaining the world.
Requirements
- Experience designing data analytics, business intelligence, developer tools, A/B testing tooling, platforms, or other technical products
- Expert in design tools (Figma, etc.) and prototyping technologies
- Strong systems thinking and ability to design scalable solutions for complex infrastructure challenges
- Experience designing interfaces that abstract complex technical concepts into intuitive user experiences
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers (coding skills not required)
- Experience with AI/ML-enhanced user experiences is a plus
- Strong understanding of software development or data processes, toolchains, and best practices
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive interaction patterns that simplify complex workflows and unlock actionable insights.
- Craft highly functional and visually compelling experiences that enhance system comprehension and usability.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and identify opportunities for improvement
- Lead design strategy for product initiatives, creating intuitive experiences that enhance user productivity and impact
- Define and evolve the design system, creating scalable product patterns and components for the products across the infrastructure platform
- Own the end-to-end design process, driving solutions for complex technical workflows from concept to launch.
- Craft and validate prototypes that effectively communicate solutions

- 10+ years as a Product Designer (or equivalent experience)
- Proven track record of leading design initiatives from concept to launch
- Successfully led design strategy for complex technical products
- Proven track record of influencing and aligning cross-functional partners without direct authority
- Excellence in communicating design decisions to technical audiences
