Target UX is looking to improve and innovate digital experiences for Target's guests, team members, and partners by designing tangible, inspiring, and impactful solutions. Specifically, the UX team aims to design thoughtful and guest-centered experiences for the Deals ecosystem across mobile web, Android, and iOS, making savings simple, enjoyable, intuitive, transparent, and delightful.

Requirements

  • Intermediate skills in UX and product design, as well as structuring and planning work, and owning the design process
  • Proficiency in product design and prototyping tools (i.e., Figma)
  • Demonstrate strategic problem-solving, systems thinking, and collaboration skills
  • Proven ability to effectively use data and insights to set your direction and communicate your approach
  • You understand how design connects to, serves, and improves business outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to UX strategy within your product team by applying strong craft expertise and helping shape design direction
  • Create design deliverables appropriate to each phase of the process, including journey maps, wireframes, flows, visual/UI design, and prototypes
  • Uphold a high standard of craft across accessibility, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design
  • Conduct and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research in partnership with researchers, contributing insights that guide team decisions
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, data science, and other partners to support the design of high quality end to end experiences
  • Pursue user centric outcomes by advocating for guest needs through research insights, design rationale, and clear storytelling
  • Strengthen human centered design practices within your immediate team by modeling thoughtful decision making and clear problem framing
