Buildium is looking for a Senior Product Designer to craft and deliver top-notch user experiences for their property management software, aiming to bring clarity and simplicity to their customers' lives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of UX design and/or product design experience.
- Fluent in Figma and other commonly-used design tools.
- Fluent in user-centered design principles and testing methodologies.
- Can clearly and effectively present and communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and customers.
- Familiar with Agile Scrum methodology; ability to plan and manage design work for 2-3 projects at a time.
- Experience creating or working with Design Systems as a producer and/or consumer.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality experiences that are gratifying, effective, modular, and embody our brand.
- Communicate conceptual ideas by producing design deliverables such as sketches, scenarios, wireframes, customer personas, prototypes, mockups, storyboards, customer journey maps, and user stories as part of the software development lifecycle.
- Engage in usability testing and incorporate user preferences and research findings into designs.
- Make understanding end-user requirements a constant priority.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to our design system.
- Develop and utilize a deep understanding of customer needs by reviewing and participating in user research.
- Collaborate with your product management counterpart leaders to establish project KPIs and be responsible for establishing and communicating UX metrics to help articulate the customer value we bring.

- Fluency in English with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Contribute to the team's design vision and partner with other team members to grow their product design skills.
- Champion design-thinking on your scrum teams and in cross-department interactions.
- Lead collaborative design sessions with Product Management and Engineering to reach a shared understanding of deliverables.
- Participate in strategic roadmap planning for your scrum teams and advocate for user-centric discussions.
