CoStar Real Estate Manager is in the beginning phases of an exciting journey of discovering how the two solutions (CoStar Real Estate Manager and Visual Lease) will integrate. We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our growing team and be a valuable contributor in building something new.
Requirements
- Experience working on the design and creation of complex workflows, atomic based design systems, and/or deep websites.
- The ability to conduct, interpret, and act on user research.
- Proficiency designing and prototyping in Figma.
- Experience with workflow design principles/concepts.
- Familiarity with financial modeling and financial visualization concepts.
- Understanding of data model concept as it pertains to a specific business domain.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Responsibilities
- Produce designs with input from the product team to achieve the desired customer experience. Outputs include user flows, high fidelity wireframes, detailed mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Act as the user advocate in cross functional teams with product managers, architects, and software engineers.
- Conduct or participate in user research and usability testing to validate assumptions, uncover insights, and inform design decisions.
- Create intuitive products that elevate the user experience using current best practices, design thinking, and user research.
- Collaborate with product managers, senior leaders, and other stakeholders to incorporate specific design requirements, visual treatment, and content structure.
- Manage multiple concurrent design projects at various levels of concept through production.
- Contribute to and help evolve design systems, patterns, and documentation.

- This position is located in Richmond, VA and is in office 5 days per week.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, in person, university or college.
- 5+ years relevant design experience working with a product team.
- Effective communicator with the ability to understand and clarify requirements, design decisions, and stakeholder feedback.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally.
