Stoneridge is looking to improve product leadership in the actuator market by supporting the growth and maintenance of their global actuators product line. This role will allow the company to exercise expertise in electrical, mechanical, and software development for electro-mechanical actuators, ensuring their products remain aligned with market needs and expectations.
Requirements
- Significant experience designing and developing electro-mechanical products.
- At least 10 years of experience of product development and launch of electromechanical systems.
- Knowledge of appropriate laboratory tools for performing product analysis and testing.
Responsibilities
- Analysis of system requirements for the application under investigation.
- Consuming, updating, and establishing design standards for actuators.
- The creation of simulation and validation strategies for actuators.
- Developing unique solutions for new actuator applications including concept development, system requirements definition, packaging studies, and BOM estimates.
- Develop intellectual property that leads to the recognition of Stoneridge as a world class provider in electro-mechanical actuators.
- Creation of product development schedules and costs for new applications.
- Execute new product launch programs aligned with the Stoneridge Product Launch Process.

- BS in an engineering discipline is required
- Experience in intellectual property development as evidenced by patents and publications
- Must be self-motivated, a fast learner, and a strong problem solver.
