Medtronic is looking to refine product designs to ensure functionality, performance, and manufacturability, bridging the gap between design and production by involving an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer in process development activities.
Requirements
- Design for Reliability and Manufacturability (DRM) experience.
- Design for Experiments (DOE) experience
- Process Validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and Test Method Validation experience
- Solid understanding of statistical techniques and analysis
Responsibilities
- Lead collaboration with design teams to develop and refine product specifications.
- Provide insights into how product design choices impact process performance.
- Oversee the prototyping phase to test both the product design and the feasibility of manufacturing processes.
- Develop early-stage assembly processes.
- Create draft process work instructions.
- Conduct testing to ensure product reliability and functionality.
- Develop and validate test methods.
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience OR Advanced Degree with 2 years of experience
- Previous medical device experience.
- Previous catheter-based device manufacturing experience
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking experience
- Solid oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
