Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in the tech industry, with at least 5 years in a product management role
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing products across their full lifecycle
  • Strong technical intuition and the ability to work closely with engineering teams on architectural decisions
  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact products and improving team efficiency
  • Deep user empathy and experience gathering insights from a wide range of stakeholders
  • Data-informed mindset with experience analyzing large datasets and using metrics to guide decisions
  • Experience aligning multiple stakeholders and navigating trade-offs in high-growth or fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a product roadmap that reflects customer needs, technical feasibility, and business impact
  • Write detailed product specifications that cover use cases, edge cases, and implementation paths
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and other departments to ship high-quality features and improvements
  • Analyze product performance and continuously identify opportunities for optimization or innovation
  • Act as a champion for the customer, maintaining a deep understanding of their problems and workflows
  • Constantly learn and adapt—diving deep into unfamiliar areas and emerging technologies when necessary
  • Resolve dependencies and align adjacent product areas to ensure a cohesive experience

Other

  • Lead product strategy: Define success, identify high-impact problems, and align with broader business objectives.
  • Own prioritization and roadmap: Balance long-term vision with immediate needs, using data to guide investment decisions.
  • Drive execution: Collaborate cross-functionally to set goals, remove blockers, and deliver against milestones.
  • Champion the customer: Spend a significant amount of time interacting with customers.
  • Communicate effectively: Clearly articulate strategy and progress to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment. Exceptional at articulating thinking through the written word.
  • Mentor and lead: Identify ways to accelerate or level up the rest of the product team and find ways to push them forward, as well as being a go-to resource for other product managers.
  • Deliver business outcomes: Focus on driving measurable results through thoughtful, rigorous problem-solving and strong execution.
  • Think deeply, act decisively: Think deeply, quickly, and analytically. Love to tease out problems, break them down to small, digestible pieces, and put them back together elegantly.
  • This role is located in Boston and requires 3 days/week in our office. Fully remote candidates will not be considered at this time.
