Microsoft 365 Copilot needs to expand its AI capabilities by grounding large language models (LLMs) in Microsoft Graph and the web to deliver secure, contextually relevant help to users within their everyday apps. This role will focus on expanding core capabilities like web search grounding, image understanding & generation, and advanced data analysis.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with AI, LLM and data driven decision making.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product definition from problem discovery to shipped impact at scale.
- Do market research on the latest tech trends and how they are being used by AI tools to enhance productivity of information workers.
- Do competitor research, defining user needs and aligning them with capabilities of the AI models to enable end-to-end experiences in M365 Copilot that will add value to the product that can be directly monetized.
- Identify end-user needs and gaps by doing opportunity analysis in the problem domain through data analysis, user and market research.
- Translate fuzzy user pain points into lovable, metric-moving features and products.
- Own roadmaps and prioritize work that balances long-term investments with short-term needs from various product teams - ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Be deeply engaged with applied science, engineering and design teams to ensure clarity on goals, launch fast and iterate faster.
Other
- Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development + OR equivalent experience.
- 5+ year of experience tailoring discussions to different audiences.
- This role requires you to be onsite 3 days a week in Microsoft's offices in Redmond, WA.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
- This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
