Apptega is looking to expand its innovative suite of Risk, Security, and Compliance platform, specifically focusing on enabling MSSP/MDRs to drive growth, improve net retention, and margin. The company seeks to build a differentiated and impactful roadmap for its Risk and Compliance offerings, which are strategic growth areas.
Requirements
- Strong Compliance & Security domain experience across GRC, Security Operations/SOC, Managed Detection and Response (MDR) or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience using AI/LLM and related technologies in planning through execution
- Ability to be forward-looking on trends/direction
- Experience in SaaS, Security or a combination thereof
- Experience in Network, Host and Cloud Technologies
- Ability to analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, and scope business requirements
- Ability to deliver initiatives from conception through completion
Responsibilities
- Defining the roadmap based on market data, voice of customer/partner, routes to market, to drive adoption and growth through our IPP
- Ability to map out strategy through execution by building a roadmap that has alignment with clearly outlined milestones that directly connect to customer value
- Leverage emerging technologies to help prototype, accelerate innovation, and drive new value for our customers.
- Own, prioritize, and maintain the development team’s product backlog, including definition of epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Own Voice of Customer – be an expert in the customer (Service Provider and end customer) experience that drives requirements and service definitions to meet our customers where they need to be met
- Work with Product Marketing and Sales Operations to drive highly powerful enablement maximizing our impact to the market (and what you built)
- Maintain a deep understanding of the MDR/MSSP space, understanding how they deliver value, and how our offerings help them differentiate and grow.

- The successful candidate must have strong technology experience and be comfortable with authoring strong, differentiating requirements.
- S/he will have 7+ years’ success with managing a product or service
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to both capture customer use cases and influence others internally and externally
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Able to determine viability of new products or services; Understands cross-functional requirements; Capable of writing and presenting a new product proposal.
