Microsoft is looking to lead the evolution of the agent maker and creator experience for Declarative agents, creating innovative tools that empower users to build and customize intelligent agents and engage with AI in new and powerful ways.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in building AI-driven products, or user-centric tools.
- Deep understanding of UX design principles and how they apply to tools for creators and developers.
- 2+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
- 4+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
- 4+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience.
- Proficiency in critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex situations in fast-evolving environments.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the product vision for the Declarative agent creation experience, ensuring it empowers a wide range of users—from novices to technically proficient users—to build, customize, and deploy agents effectively.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, engineering, research, and partner teams (e.g. Copilot Studio) to identify key opportunities, align roadmaps, and deliver cohesive creator tools that integrate seamlessly across platforms.
- Champion user needs and usability, conducting or leveraging user research to deeply understand the pain points, motivations, and workflows of creators, and translate insights into intuitive, high-impact product experiences.
- Own end-to-end product execution, from problem definition and prioritization to successful delivery and iteration—balancing speed, quality, and innovation.
- Navigate complex trade-offs and influence without authority by aligning diverse stakeholders across product, legal, research, and platform orgs through clear communication, structured thinking, and reliable negotiation skills.
- Define and track success metrics, ensuring a data-informed approach to decision-making, and continuously optimize the product experience based on feedback and measurable outcomes.
