Apple is building out a multi-cloud platform that will power Apple's key services ranging from Music, TV+, Sports, and AI/ML offerings. This platform requires core platform services and managed services for public cloud development, deployment, and wide-scale adoption.
Requirements
- Proven understanding of public cloud platforms
- Experience in one or more domains including cloud computing, AI/ML infrastructure, data platforms, storage, cloud security and networking concepts
- Experience working with public cloud technologies in a large enterprise environment
- Working knowledge of public cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/others) and awareness of current service offerings
- Strong technical understanding of infrastructure services and / or cloud technologies
- Driving the product vision
- Leading design discussions
Responsibilities
- Work closely with internal customer teams across Apple to understand product needs
- Collaborate with engineering teams to drive the product roadmap for a secure, scalable and automated cloud platform
- Understand cloud technologies, data and AI platforms
- Build scalable cloud services
- Co-develop solutions with customers
- Build product roadmaps from conception to launch
- Define go-to-market strategy
Other
- At least 10+ years product management experience in enterprise products, preferably cloud-based.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Able to identify and explain challenges to both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Experience communicating engineering technical challenges that may affect business timelines.
- Strong verbal and written communicator with the ability to influence and build consensus in a collaborative way.
