Apple is building out machine learning (ML) lifecycle tools to support ML researchers and engineers in developing generative AI features for key Apple services. The company needs experienced Product Managers to collaborate with internal ML engineering teams to understand their needs and improve their developer experience, thereby accelerating ML feature development.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of and experience in machine learning, ML tools, MLOps, data engineering, ML infrastructure and data platforms.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning and generative AI technologies
- Working knowledge of public cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/others).
- Strong technical understanding of machine learning and data and AI.
- Experience building product roadmaps from conception to launch
Responsibilities
- Work closely with internal ML engineering teams across Apple Services to understand their use cases, workflows, and pain points to improve their developer experience and accelerate ML feature development.
- Build out machine learning (ML) lifecycle tools that are used by our ML researchers and engineers to build generative AI features for Apple's key services ranging from Music, TV+, Podcasts, iCloud, Apps Store, and Sports.
- Build production ML pipelines and features.
- Drive the product vision.
- Define go-to-market strategy.
- Lead design discussions.
Other
- At least 10+ years product management experience in technical enterprise products, preferably around data and AI.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Able to identify and explain challenges to both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Experience communicating engineering technical challenges that may affect business timelines.
- Strong verbal and written communicator with the ability to influence and build consensus in a collaborative way.
