Requirements

  • Prior experience as a backend software engineer is a strong plus
  • Experience developing API Products, a plus if experience includes Apivise or SynthAPI
  • Deep expertise in Agile/Scrum and Kanban frameworks as a Product Owner
  • Strong technical acumen; able to analyze and leverage data to inform decisions (SQL knowledge is a plus)
  • Proficient in Confluence, Jira, Teams, Snowflake, Tableau, etc.
  • Experience in health care, insurance, or marketplace industries, ideally with exposure to platform services.

Responsibilities

  • Innovating core services and collaborating with cross functional business application to improve shopping, enrollment and post enrollment customer experience.
  • Lead the product strategy and roadmap for back-end operational solutions, with a focus on supporting, innovating and optimizing *key projects for Platform Core services including Plan, Rx Drugs, Provider, Quote etc.
  • Work with teams of Engineers and Architects to define APIs, SLAs and Monitoring/ Observability aspects of the services for both internal and external customers.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives and manage products throughout their full lifecycle—from ideation and development to release, measurement, and ongoing post-release support.
  • Collaborate closely with cross functional product, engineering, legal and compliance, security as well as internal UX/design teams to resolve system dependencies and enhance the architecture, workflows, and process design of our platforms.
  • Define product requirements and develop actionable technical user stories for drugs, providers, quotes and plan services, managing the product backlog and overall prioritization to best support operational efficiency.
  • Serve as Product Owner, leading Agile processes, managing sprints, and empowering your team to deliver impactful improvements to internal operations.

Other

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with demonstrable success in platform services
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working with local and/or offshore development teams
  • Track record of leading and enabling high-performing teams
  • Exceptional communicator in both technical and business contexts
