Requirements
- Experience as a data product manager working with large volumes of data at scale.
- Deep domain knowledge in data modeling, database design, and data lakehouse architectures with the capability to drive technical decisions with engineering colleagues.
- Strong analytical and data driven decision making skills.
- Knowledge and hands-on SQL experience.
Responsibilities
- Define data flow from data generation or ingestion, through transformation and storage, to consumption for machine-learning models or analysis.
- Work to deeply understand the data needs of internal customers and collaborate with engineering on the best ways to execute on those requirements.
- Define and articulate a clear vision and strategy for the data products you manage, aligning with Unity's overall objectives.
- Translate complex requirements of large data initiatives into clear actionable items.
- Prioritize data initiatives across a wide range of internal stakeholders.
- Lead and motivate a cross functional team of engineers and analysts.
