Verizon is looking to drive the direction and innovation of the High Bandwidth Services product portfolio, with a specific focus on Dark Fiber, to remain competitive and drive revenue growth.
Requirements
- Experience with IT systems for order entry, provisioning, service assurance, and/or billing.
- Deep knowledge of Verizon's IT Provision Process flow.
- Experience with Verizon’s Lean Business Agility (LBA), and clarity process.
- Deep data and analytic orientation for evidence-based decision making with a strong product intuition and user empathy.
- Experience in operating within a multi-channel/multi-region brand.
- Experience with understanding consumer insights, market trend analysis, usability testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, and analytics.
- Experience working in a dynamic environment where diverse perspectives are respected and considered for creative solutions to difficult problems.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership of the product(s) from the development lifecycle (i.e., ideation to release) and lifecycle management to grow the business (analytics, usage, strategy) Monitors launch and post-launch progress.
- Reviewing and prioritizing product requirements; Defining the vision and business strategy for new products; Identifying and tracking KPIs and using them as a cornerstone for communicating to stakeholders, and the teams focus and priorities.
- Conduct market research on customer needs, and pain points and perform competitor gap analysis, identifying new offerings to drive growth and converting /refining them into product ideas.
- Work closely with product marketers and engineers to understand the market and technology trends, define and drive product vision, business case, product strategy and distill a product roadmap.
- Partner with the engineering, and GNT organizations on product development to deliver products that are fit for purpose and desirable in the market.
- Define MVPs, manage product backlog priorities, and strategically de-scope to achieve rapid feedback cycles.
- Synthesize perspectives across a diverse set of stakeholders to make quick decisions.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or ten or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
- Four or more years of Product experience in B2B advanced IP network products.
- Experience in life cycle management and understanding product P&L.
- Excellent communication and prioritization skills, and strong business acumen.
