LaunchDarkly is seeking to build and expand new product offerings in the observability space and support existing products cross-functionally. The role will focus on building the vision for a new team focused on monitoring software releases at the intersection of feature flags and observability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product experience especially with developer tools, data, analytics, observability and monitoring products
- Alternatively, 5+ years of engineering experience with a strong product mindset and a desire to transition into a product management role.
- Proven track record of successfully bringing products in data or observability spaces to market.
- Strong understanding of data management and data engineering.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly product features.
- Passion for data and a deep understanding of how customers use and interact with data products.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the development and execution of LaunchDarkly’s products in the observability & monitoring space, including maintaining a product roadmap that aligns with company goals and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor products to stay ahead of the curve.
- Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring their needs and pain points are addressed in all product decisions.
- Partner with marketing and cross functional teams including sales, customer success and support teams, to define Go-To-Market plans and strategy for data observability features.
