Unity is looking to transform its Offerwall product from a standalone feature into an intelligent, ML-driven monetization solution that seamlessly integrates offers and in-app purchases to maximize developer revenue while respecting player experience.
Requirements
- Deep experience in game monetization, including in-app purchases, rewarded placements, and promotional offers
- Proven track record working with machine learning systems for optimization and decision-making (recommendation engines, yield optimization, or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and optimize user flows, conversion funnels, and monetization metrics at scale
- Strong understanding of game economies and how monetization impacts player experience and retention
- Background in ad tech, rewarded advertising, or Offerwall products with familiarity in concepts like CPI offers and programmatic monetization
Responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision and roadmap for integrating Offerwall and in-app purchases into a unified, ML-optimized monetization funnel
- Partner with data scientists and ML engineers to build and iterate on decision frameworks that determine when to show offers versus purchases
- Collaborate with game developers to understand their monetization strategies and ensure solutions align with their goals and player expectations
- Design experimentation frameworks to test and optimize objective functions focused on lifetime value and revenue
- Balance monetization effectiveness with game economy health and player satisfaction across diverse game genres
