Wayfair's Product team needs to build technology that solves important customer problems in elegant, scalable, measurable ways, specifically for the Product Listing Pages (PLP) & Navigation team to help customers efficiently find the perfect products from a catalog of over 10 million items.
Requirements
- Proven track record of building & scaling impactful front-end experiences—especially navigation elements, product listing pages, or other large-scale discovery experiences.
- Experience collaborating with machine learning teams to deliver data-driven features that improve product discovery, ranking, and personalization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-team technical initiatives, aligning platform, engineering, design, and analytics groups to deliver robust front-end experiences.
- Familiarity with A/B testing, experimentation, and agile development practices.
Responsibilities
- Partner with design, tech teams and business stakeholders to build & execute roadmaps that elevate PLP & Navigation experiences.
- Translate customer needs & shopping behaviors into clear product requirements that shape how customers browse, filter, and discover our catalog.
- Work in tandem with platform & ML teams to identify the right technical foundations & algorithms to power front-end features.
- Author PRDs & collaborate closely with design & engineering to deliver new front-end features & enhancements that make product discovery simple, scalable, and compelling.
- Leverage qualitative & quantitative insights to identify opportunities, break down complex problems, and measure the impact of product initiatives.
- Champion the PLP & Navigation experience by aligning stakeholders across engineering, design, analytics, and the business to deliver high-impact improvements.
Other
- 6+ years of product management experience, ideally in e-commerce or other customer-facing digital products.
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams & business leadership, and translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Customer-first mindset with empathy for our site users.
- This is a hybrid role based in Boston, and will require you to work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
