The company aims to provide a configurable, reliable, and easy-to-use benefits administration experience for its customers, specifically focusing on enhancing the provider portal and developing value-based payment products.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in healthcare technology product management, with a strong focus on provider-facing solutions and healthcare payments.
  • Domain expertise in healthcare provider systems, integrations, revenue cycle management, provider contracts and value-based and other payment models, coupled with an understanding of their operational and financial impacts.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and launching complex systems in highly regulated healthcare environments.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to lead difficult trade-off discussions and evangelize product vision across diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies (e.g., deep agile knowledge) and proficiency with tools like Jira.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to keep track of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for provider servicing and payments. This includes identifying new opportunities to streamline payments, reduce administrative overhead for providers, and simplify the complexity of provider payment models.
  • Use insights and customer feedback to gather and execute product requirements for both process and digital solutions.
  • Center the voice of the provider and other external stakeholders in your work by pulling from and continually seeking out feedback through interviews, user testing, and other research means to understand their deepest pain points.
  • Serve as a bridge between business operations, engineering, and data teams to ensure that solutions are developed and delivered that significantly improve the accuracy, reliability, and speed of provider payments, and enable seamless provider self-service.
  • Be the evangelist for your product area across all areas of the organization, advocating for simpler, more efficient payment models that benefit both providers and our members, and finding breakthrough opportunities for shared learning and partnership.
  • Partner with design, engineering, data science, and analytics teams to ensure that features are delivered with high quality, scalability, and efficiency, and that our provider portal drives high adoption and self-service.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for provider adoption of digital tools (e.g., portal usage, self-service rates for auth status, claims status), payment accuracy and timeliness, and the overall efficiency and simplicity of value-based payment models, even as baselines are being established.

Other

  • Empathetically collaborate with TPA operations and product teams.
  • Communicate progress and maintain accountability to stakeholders, functional owners and internal team members, proactively managing expectations in a rapidly evolving product area.
  • Fervent passion to solve healthcare challenges, particularly in improving the provider experience and simplifying complex payment mechanisms, to improve the lives of others.
  • Adaptability to thrive in highly complex and changing environments, comfortable with ambiguity and building new product capabilities from the ground up.
  • Hybrid position based out of one of our offices: San Francisco, CA, Plano, TX, or Lehi, UT. Hybrid employees are expected to be in the office two days per week.
