PROCEPT BioRobotics is seeking to revolutionize treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) through innovation in surgical robotics, and needs a Senior Product Manager to lead the total software product portfolio for their HYDROS™ and AquaBeam® Robotic systems to enhance the surgical experience and patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Comfort with various software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Familiarity with AI software development concepts, cybersecurity, and HIPAA.
- Familiar with connectivity concepts (ideally with prior experience), define requirements, and partner with engineering to design and implement connectivity features.
- Possess knowledge of licensing and upgrading concepts (ideally with past experience), define requirements, and work with engineering to build and launch these capabilities from the ground up, leveraging SaaS, subscription, and other software business model experience where applicable.
- Experience with Jira.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for the software portfolio, aligning with PROCEPT’s overall vision.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
- Define product roadmaps and scope features based on customer needs and business objectives.
- Plan, manage, and incorporate Voice of Customers into product strategy and planning.
- Own the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch support.
- Define product requirements and collaborate with engineering, design, and clinical teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Contribute to User Interface development by bringing in the Voice of Customer insights, and oversee the development to ensure intuitive, user-friendly design.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience of software-based product management in the medical device industry, or another industry with significant regulatory requirements.
- The position requires critical, analytical, and strategic thinking, the ability to take initiative and lead change, and the ability to ask the right questions to assess fundamental needs while working effectively with a diverse team.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
