The business problem that STLA-Brain in the Software Organization is looking to solve is to deliver scalable, robust platforms that accelerate product teams across the organization by leading the portfolio direction for the vehicle platform, spanning base software, core platform services, and body domain applications.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience with vehicle hardware/software development and launch of successful products
  • Proven ability to work in a cross-functional team with system/solution architects, HW designers, SW architects/developers , HW/SW integrators , and business teams
  • A software development background with experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java, Python)
  • Experience with embedded software/hardware product development and lifecycles, including agile methodologies
  • Experience working with in an Agile environment
  • Experience working with AUTOSAR (Classic and Adaptive), QNX, and/or Linux
  • Experience working with automotive networks ( i.e. CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and protocols ( e.g. UDS, SOME/IP, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and owns the vision and strategic priorities for products within your domain
  • Develop, maintain , and communicate a prioritized roadmap for base software, core services, and body domain applications.
  • Lead product discovery and MVP scoping; manage the backlog and ensure that deliverables align with business needs.
  • Ensures the product backlog reflects the vision and strategy by working closely with other Product Managers
  • Collaborate s with stakeholders to define o bjectives & k ey r esults (OKR) , product themes , and features
  • Uses business cases to make the case for new features and products/technology
  • Set s product feature priorities and timelines, analyze s trade-offs, and considers business & sales impact of different features to provide data-driven prioritized requirements to engineering teams

Other

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical / Computer E ngineering , S oftware E ngineering , C omputer Science, or equivalent
  • A minimum of 8 years relevant technical experience including a minimum of 2 years te chnical leadership experience
  • Desire to dive deep in understanding the product, our business, and the competitive landscape
  • Strong relationship building skills , including the ability to relate constructively to all levels of an organization
  • S trong listening, technical writing , and oral communication skills in English
