The Red Hat Portfolio Lifecycle Management (PLM) team is seeking a Senior Product Operations Engineer to focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and improve the customer experience throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
Hands-on familiarity with Enterprise Linux (preferably RHEL) and related technologies.
Background in DevOps, System Administration, or a related discipline.
Usage of data analysis tools like Tableau
Experience using Git and Github
Strong troubleshooting skills and creative problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities
Use data to identify customer trends and guide the product roadmap.
Deliver a unified strategy across the Red Hat portfolio by amplifying customer feedback and promoting an improved product experience.
Assist in developing comprehensive, reusable self-service solutions for future incidents.
Deconstruct complex technical issues and collaborate with peers to create improvements that are simple for customers to adopt.
Exercise sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques to solve problems.
Analyze upstream development in the context of current customer-reported product defects.
Develop and promote best practices to ensure sustainable, long-term solutions.

5+ years of experience as a support, sustaining, or development engineer—or in another directly related enterprise environment role.
BS or higher in Computer Science or other technical field, or equivalent work experience.
Ability to collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to prioritize issues based on data trends and feedback.
