Raytheon is seeking a Program Production Test Engineer (PTE) to support manufacturing test teams and assigned programs across all phases of the product lifecycle. The role involves troubleshooting test failures, identifying process improvements, and managing test equipment obsolescence and capacity to ensure compliance with technical data package requirements.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.

Responsibilities
- Creation and maintenance of the program test equipment obsolescence plan.
- Responsible for overall capacity plan for test equipment.
- Creation of Basis of Estimates (BOE) to estimate costs to add additional capacity, new capabilities and equipment obsolescence.
- Supports make center PTE’s to reduce test time, improve the test process through analysis of predictive metrics of trends, failure modes, and test yields.
- Support engineering and make center PTE’s perform preliminary investigation and problem resolution.
- Develop test flows and contribute to test capacity analysis.
- Maintain changes to the test equipment technical data package which includes drawings, test instructions, test position manuals, and system software.

- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance.
