Amazon Robotics is seeking an experienced Senior Production Planner to optimize production planning, lead strategic initiatives, and partner across the organization to delight customers by driving end-to-end planning excellence through the strategic implementation of advanced supply chain planning technology and optimized workflows.
Requirements
- Proficient in supply chain management tools and technologies
- Proficient in SQL and data visualization to drive key insights (Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma process improvement methodologies
- Certified Kinaxis Author or Advanced User certification
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
- Knowledge of emerging technologies in the supply chain and logistics space (e.g. IoT, machine learning)
Responsibilities
- Develop the master production schedule aligned with sales forecasts and business objectives
- Utilize demand plans, inventory, lead times, and production capacity to create a feasible master schedule
- Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, logistics to ensure feasible and executable supply plans
- Collaborate with sales, operations, finance to iteratively refine the MPS based on changes
- Assess the organization's production capacity and resources (labor, equipment, facilities)
- Perform capacity analysis to identify potential bottlenecks and constraints
- Use RCCP to validate master schedule against capacity, flag issues, and make adjustments
Other
- 6+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or a related field
- Deep understanding of advanced planning strategies and replenishment processes
- Excellent problem-solving and process improvement skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical solutions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional projects
