The Senior Production Test Technician will be responsible for performing routine and varied tasks to ensure that production standards are met. Duties include setting up, calibrating, testing, and troubleshooting production assemblies.
Requirements
- Experience in microelectronics and RF testing.
- Prior test experience.
- Prior DoD/AUV testing experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience operating and integrating a variety of electronic test gear, including oscilloscopes, power meters, waveform generators, etc., in acoustic test applications.
- Familiarity with LabVIEW.
- Familiarity with testing messaging middleware.
Responsibilities
- Set up test apparatus and conduct tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.
- Adjust and calibrate systems as needed.
- Modify equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams.
- Correct malfunctions by adjusting or replacing parts or components as directed.
- Use various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties.
- Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
- Test electronic and acoustic units using standard and custom test equipment, analyzing results to evaluate performance and determine necessary adjustments.
Other
- Associate’s degree in electronics, technical/business school, or equivalent experience.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in testing, troubleshooting, or production support.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Active or eligible for a Secret Clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
