The Wilder Research division needs to develop and implement a full-scale development effort to support select Wilder Research projects and initiatives, including the Minnesota Compass project and the Minnesota Homeless study, by sustaining and increasing research revenue for key projects.
Requirements
- minimum of five years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, with a proven track record of revenue growth, as well as knowledge of philanthropic, government, and corporate funding systems
- minimum of five years of experience working with a revenue portfolio of at least $1,250,000 annually
- minimum three years of experience in social science research methodologies
- minimum of five years of experience identifying, building, and engaging strategic partnerships with nonprofit and/or for-profit entities to support programs
- minimum of five years of experience with project management, preferably with research grants, with demonstratable skills in planning and monitoring work plans, budgets, timelines, and contracts
- proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and related office software
Responsibilities
- develop and implement a full-scale development effort to support select Wilder Research projects and initiatives
- manages, sustains, and grows a funding portfolio of no less than $1,250,000 on an annual basis
- identifying, building, and sustaining relationships with government agencies, foundations, and corporations to bring in revenue through grants and other means
- working with a revenue portfolio of at least $1,250,000 annually
- experience in social science research methodologies
- identifying, building, and engaging strategic partnerships with nonprofit and/or for-profit entities to support programs
- project management, preferably with research grants, with demonstratable skills in planning and monitoring work plans, budgets, timelines, and contracts

- provide strategic leadership to the Wilder Research division

- Must reside in the Twin Cities metropolitan region
- permanently authorized to work in the United States
- demonstrated success in working independently and as part of a team; and be able to interact effectively and develop relationships with diverse colleagues and stakeholders
