Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) is seeking an experienced Senior Program Quality Engineer to implement and develop quality engineering and customer quality flow-down requirements throughout proposal and program life cycle with our Focal Planes Operations group.
Requirements
- Working experience applying and adhering to Quality Management Systems IS0 9001, AS9100
- Working experience of Industry and Government Quality Requirements and Standards
- Working experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) methodology, systems, and resources
- Working experience in predictive and proactive measures and metrics assessments and actions to improve performance or mitigate problems
- Experience with statistical and metrics software (e.g., Tableau, Minitab)
- Experience with factory systems and software (e.g., SAP, Windchill)
- Experience with Focal Plane manufacturing processes and cleanrooms
Responsibilities
- Create or tailor existing quality planning to administer customer and internal quality requirements
- Implement quality engineering responsibilities as a member of a program Integrated Product Team (IPT)
- Ensure programmatic and technical risks are identified, contained, and managed throughout each phase of business pursuit and program implementation
- Ensure quality engineering engagement in program development, design, test requirements and verification, including the transition of design to production
- Lead multi-functional teams in problem resolution and continuous improvement activities with an emphasis on 8D, Six Sigma, Lean Practices and other critical thinking improvement methods and resources
- Manage the completion of Internal First Article Inspections (FAIs)
- Guide business and program performance utilizing predictive and proactive measures and metrics

- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- DoD Clearance: Secret
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and five (5) years of engineering experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality, Engineering or Operations with working experience of business strategic planning and proposal, engineering development, material and service acquisition, production, test, product acceptance and post-delivery support
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
