Day & Zimmermann Maintenance and Construction (DZMC) is looking for a Senior Project Engineering Manager to manage engineering projects, ensuring effective execution, cost control, and client satisfaction in the Power, Chemical, and Industrial markets.
Requirements
- Experience in project management, cost estimation, engineering supervision.
- Strong organizational and technical skills across disciplines.
- Software proficiency (Office suite, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit a plus).
- PE license strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manages all or part of the engineering scope of an Engineering project.
- Provides direction and coordinates the Engineering and Design leads on an assigned project.
- Responsible for the execution of engineering deliverables including the engineering schedule, budget, document controls.
- Ensures effective communications among other engineering disciplines.
- Responsible for projects cost, schedule, quantity and budget control.
- Manage project schedule development ensure milestones for technical, equipment and documentation deliverables.
- Define key technical deliverables.
Other
- Manage medium to large projects independently including engineering efforts for programs including but not limited to ensuring proper specifications and documentation, permit support and design.
- Ensure proper execution of all suppliers/contractors and provide technical assistance as necessary.
- Supervises development and submission of reports and correspondence.
- Support construction interface coordination.
- Interfaces with customers to ensure proper specifications and resolve technical issues.
- Supports the development of the proposal/project technical approach, risk assessment/register as well as assumptions and clarifications.
- Ability to regularly perform all job functions at Companys office or worksite.
