Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings is looking for a Senior QA Analyst/Software to ensure high quality software and compliance according to regulatory statutes, policies and procedures by designing, implementing and overseeing testing solutions across various technology platforms.
Requirements
- at least 5 years of progressive experience as a Software Quality Analyst with experience using software quality tools to facilitate testing or with respective lab systems or related role.
- at least 4 years of experience with various lifecycle methodologies: Waterfall, Agile and testing methods: Functional, Integration, System, User Acceptance, Usability.
- at least 4 years of experience with various lifecycle and testing methodologies: Waterfall, Agile, Integration, System, User Acceptance.
- at least three years of experience testing or using Mainframe, Web-based, .NET, VB, middleware components, API/services and other development technologies.
- at least three years of experience with Software Tools: Artifact and Defect Management Tools: HP Quality Center/ALM, Microsoft TFS, JIRA/Zephyr, Confluence.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and oversee testing solutions as well as the ability to apply these concepts across various technology platforms (web-based, client-server, service oriented, mainframe, etc.).
- Work with LIMS applications or the hands on extensive hands-on experience with designing, implementing and overseeing testing solutions as well as the ability to apply these concepts across various technology platforms (web-based, client-server, service oriented, mainframe, etc.) are necessary to perform in this role.
- Identify, plan and execute testing activities to ensure high quality software and ensure compliance according to regulatory statutes, policies and procedures.
- Testing of various development technologies such as web applications, desktop applications such as VB or .Net, API/web services or legacy/mainframe systems.
- Utilize middleware components such as IBM’s messaging queues or interfaces to perform validation of an application.
- Complete various testing types such as white-box/black-box, functional, etc. to ensure application functionality.
- Create and maintain test plans, cases, test data and summary artifacts as well as execute testing scenarios for verification.

- Approximately 40 hours per week
- salary range is $114,878 to $131,550 per year.
