Suno is looking to accelerate product development and iterate faster by bringing the voice of the user into every stage of the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience in UX research, with a strong focus on qualitative methods in fast-paced environments.
- Deep expertise in qualitative research design, execution, and synthesis.
- Solid working knowledge of survey tools and basic statistical analysis.
- Experience working collaboratively across design, product, and engineering teams.
- Familiarity with AI and generative technologies in product experiences.
- Experience in music, creative tools, or Gen-Z digital culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end qualitative research, including user interviews, usability tests, and diary studies across mobile, web, and platform experiences.
- Support weekly research cycles across product and marketing initiatives, helping teams validate concepts and improve features with rapid iteration.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to scope research, identify learning goals, and synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights.
- Develop and deploy surveys that complement qualitative findings and provide lightweight validation for hypotheses.
- Deliver compelling reports, presentations, and workshops that inspire action and shape roadmap decisions.
- Advocate for the user across all touchpoints—from onboarding to remix tools to artist interactions.
- Help establish and evolve research best practices and scalable processes to support rapid experimentation and growing demand.
Other
- BA or equivalent experience in HCI, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field.
- Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to distill complexity into clarity.
- A proactive, flexible mindset—comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and tight timelines.
- Experience in being the single researcher at a startup (even though we have a UX team, we function with high ownership like being the single researcher in a startup)
