Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a Senior Quality Analyst for their Diablo IV game to ensure the quality of the development process and drive continuous improvement within the QA team, ultimately delivering high-quality entertainment experiences to players.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with game engines, Jira, content and asset editors, and shared technologies.
- Experience in writing, executing, and monitoring test suites using a variety of technologies.
- Thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), specifically QA processes in agile and waterfall development environments.
- Be an expert in one or more software testing methodologies.
- Practical knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, & SQL Server.
- Coding Knowledge: XML / HTML, JavaScript, Python, Java, C / C++ / C, SQL.
Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced testing methods, including manual and automated Grey-box approaches, to deliver test design, execution, maintenance, and closure results.
- Analyze and monitor software development processes throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC) to ensure quality, meet requirements, and manage risks.
- Responsible for planning, developing, reviewing and distributing test execution requests to global QA partners.
- Design and implement custom test scenarios using established development toolsets.
- Develop test plans with a strategic selection of methodologies, including data validation, regression testing, integration testing, and performance/load testing.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, to understand and formulate effective testing requirements.
- Perform technical testing, which includes performance-related testing, game engine testing, in-game rendering (IGR) testing, special assignments, and testing new technologies.

- The Senior Quality Analyst is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home.
