Lumen seeks to evolve its Vyvx Broadcast Solutions platform by analyzing requirements, designing/testing solutions, and deploying them into production, focusing on the infrastructure, applications, and support systems for a large-scale global broadcast media product. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality and functionality of software applications through rigorous testing and validation, working with developers and operations to identify bugs, verify fixes, and ensure a seamless user experience.
Requirements
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, JIRA, Playwright, or similar.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Experience with SQL and database testing.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Solid understanding of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Github).
- Collaborate with developers and operations to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Perform regression and functional testing, and coordinate UAT testing as needed.
- Maintain and update test documentation and test automation scripts.
- Provide feedback on usability, functionality, and performance.
