Entegris is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to improve process efficiency, predictability, capability, and increase internal and external customer satisfaction for their Point-of-Use (POU) and Bulk gas purification systems, in response to the fast pace of innovations in semiconductors.

Requirements

  • Experience with applicable quality tools such as pareto, FMEA’s, SPC/SQC, histograms, trend analysis, root-cause analysis, process mapping, design of experiments, cause and effect diagrams, 8D problem solving methodology.
  • Substantial understanding of root cause analysis tools.
  • Ability to lead problem solving teams that include driving to root cause.
  • Experience with FMEA.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and ERP systems skills. (SAP strongly desired).
  • Demonstrated application and substantial understanding of risk-based thinking.
  • Experience in an engineering role in the areas of quality, process, equipment or materials within the semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in varying levels of engagement with customers and company teams on Problem Solving, Change Management, Customer and Internal Audits, Project Development, Product Support and Development Programs as well as many other cross-functional tasks and projects that are aligned with Entegris and Customer goals.
  • Provide support for various documentation expectations such as business process documents, item tracking, performance reporting and continuous improvement project management.
  • Be a leader in directing and advancing the Entegris Way quality mindset in accordance with defined policies and procedures.
  • Be a data-driven, hands-on engineer that can also guide others in best practices that enhance our data-driven, risk-based thinking culture.
  • Support and maintains failure analysis process; Quality Notification (QN) Management.
  • Leads Problem Solving Teams in the failure analysis, root cause investigation, and corrective and preventative action activities for defect resolution.
  • Ensures effective root-cause analysis and closure of robust corrective actions that reduce waste and improve production efficiency and quality within timing goals.

Other

  • 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a significant amount of that time successfully leading customer quality related initiatives.
  • Experience managing issues and projects between internal stakeholders and customers with experience in escalation management and project management focused on closing gaps between company capabilities and customer needs.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively and create reports for a global audience.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills with an ability to collaborate with cross functional departments such as R&D, Product Management, Engineering, and Manufacturing.
  • Flexibility to accommodate a schedule that allows work with a customer and company network of team members that reside in North America, Europe and Asia.
