Requirements
- Expertise in Testing Methodologies
- Proficiency with Software Development and Test Tools and Work Processes
- Experience authoring test plans
- Experience with wireless and wired communications – Cellular, Bluetooth, GPS, CAN
- Knowledge of software automation to include scripting, debugging, execution, and analysis
- Knowledge of PTCRB/Trendi certification processes a plus
- Knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration systems and devices a plus
Responsibilities
- Execute complete Software Test Life Cycle
- Manage field trials and conduct comprehensive analysis
- Cooperate with cross-functional stakeholders and incorporate inputs into decisions
- Understanding of complex dynamic systems
- Proactively provide status updates and progress metrics to supervisor
- Support telematics operations and certifications
- Execute system and sub-system level testing to ensure system behavior meets implicit and explicit requirements
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in STEM field, and 7+ years of work experience in a testing or related role is required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and proactive problem-solving ability
- Strong sense of ownership, taking full accountability for assigned tasks, with the ability to adapt and change direction swiftly
- Collaborative mindset, recognizing the importance of teamwork, and exhibiting a willingness to seek assistance and provide support when necessary
