Turner & Townsend are seeking an experienced Sr Quality Assurance PM, Mechanical to support the Data Center Construction team and manage large-scale construction projects

Requirements

  • Proficiency managing construction documents including BODs, specifications, contract drawings, C/D/E’s, equipment submittals and RFIs
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, Project, Smartsheets, and other construction project management tools
  • Background working in design or construction with a mechanical or BMS controls experience
  • Background working in a vendor equipment factory supporting quality control processes of mechanical equipment
  • Background working in commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment in mission critical data centers
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant project management experience, specifically working with mechanical systems in the built environment
  • Strong organizational and management skills – ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team

Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage and collaborate with project stakeholders
  • Analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip
  • Verify that effective project governance, processes and systems are utilized
  • Ensure application of best practice on all projects
  • Production of formal project status reports and other reports as required
  • Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards are being applied correctly
  • Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or applicable bachelor’s degree and or equivalent experience
  • Strong organizational and management skills – ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team
  • On site 5-days a week

  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable
